The Role


We are looking for a motivated Senior Front-End Engineer to join GSCF’s engineering hub in Budapest. This hybrid role focuses on enhancing our existing digital products and building new user experiences, working closely with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Develop innovative features for both customer-facing applications and internal platforms using Angular and related technologies.
  • Transform UI designs and prototypes into modern interfaces that adhere to global accessibility standards, ensuring that GSCF's digital products are inclusive for everyone.
  • Build reusable components and front-end libraries that can be utilized in future projects.
  • Ensure that designs are responsive and deliver a seamless user experience across various browsers and devices.
  • Debug and tackle reported issues while integrating feedback from stakeholders to continually improve the products.


What You Bring to the Team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Front-End Engineer or a similar role, with demonstrated expertise in building B2B applications.
  • Strong experience in SPA frameworks (Angular is highly preferable).
  • Strong experience working with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less.
  • Solid programming experience in TypeScript / JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of JS module systems, test frameworks, build and packaging tools.
  • Experience working with a variety of cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of agile/scrum development processes and concepts
  • Passion for systems thinking and solving complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the financial industry.
  • Experience working with design systems and UI frameworks such as Material, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS to create consistent, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
  • Comfortable collaborating with designers and implementing Figma-based specifications.
  • Prior experience working with Storybook application.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and patterns.
  • Portfolio of accomplished projects.
