Senior Front-end/Shopify Engineer

Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong experience in ReactJS, HTML, CSS, and Liquid(Shopify) development for web products and Shopify storefront who is passionate about the customer experience to join the InsideTracker team as a Senior Front-end Engineer. You will work closely with InsideTracker development and product teams to release and maintain new products and features without compromising on quality.
Responsibilities:
• Taking a part in agile frontend development in Typescript with ReactJS for InsideTracker products
• Keep InsideTracker’s Shopify storefront up to date with the designs and be details oriented about the implementation of those designs
• Develop responsive user interfaces for web browsers and mobile platforms based on our RESTful APIs
• Translate UI requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application components and frameworks
• Develop and adhere to best practices for developing UI
• Maintain and update all existing components as well as creating new ones and document them if necessary
• Perform code reviews and tests on all relevant platforms and devices
• Work collaboratively with other team members.
Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar in relevant field.
• Previous working experience in front-end development for 5+ years
• Experience in development of modern web applications (mobile first) with JavaScript (ES2015+, Typescript) and at best also familiar with Java.
• Good knowledge of ReactJS, Responsive Libraries (Bootstrap) and CSS Preprocessing Libraries (LESS, SASS) as well as Build Tools (Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, etc.).
• Experience in Liquid, and Shopify development in general
• Experience in web development, HTML/JavaScript/CSS
• Great level of competency with Git Source Control
• RESTful services experience
• Experience with Agile software development methodology (Scrum/ Kanban)
• Maintain a healthy balance of disciplined test planning with day-to-day flexibility
• Comfortable with and have experience working in small, fast moving companies with “just enough” process
• A love for developing software and solving difficult problems with simple solutions
