Senior Frontend Developer

Summary: The Frontend Developer role focuses on enhancing user experience through the development of innovative, secure, and intuitive web solutions aimed at preventing payment fraud.

Main Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain scalable, high-performing frontends using React and TypeScript.
* Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary Scrum team alongside Backend Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners.
* Work closely with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of modern UI/UX principles.
* Integrate frontend applications with robust APIs and ensure consistent user experiences across platforms.
* Champion best practices like component reusability, unit testing, and performance optimisation.
* Stay up to date with frontend trends and share your insights with the team.
* Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentorship of junior developers.

Key Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience working with React in a professional setting.
* Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS, styled-components, or similar).
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and micro frontends.
* Experience in frontend performance optimisation and responsive design.

* Familiarity or proven experience with Java and backend development: Necessary for effective integration across the stack.
* Good understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum).
* Experience working with tools like Webpack, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have:
* Knowledge of component libraries like Material UI or Chakra UI.
* Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress).
