What you'll do

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks, primarily focusing on TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional web applications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and performance, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow between the frontend and backend systems.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, implementing solutions to enhance functionality and user satisfaction.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for best practices in frontend development within the team.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Contribute to documentation of frontend architecture and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical insights that inform project direction and priorities.
• Assist in the deployment of applications, ensuring that all releases are stable and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on building complex web applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks, particularly React.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with server-side rendering and static site generation using frameworks like Next.js.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress for frontend testing.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries, and an eye for design aesthetics.
• Previous experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications is a plus.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices in web development.
