Senior Frontend Developer

Build and maintain high-performance travel web apps using Next.js, TypeScript, and modern React patterns; lead frontend architecture and mentorship in Istanbul.

Location: Istanbul, Türkiye. Our engineering and product teams are based in Istanbul, where we continue to build and grow our technology organization together.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain performant, accessible web applications with Next.js and TypeScript using Server Side Rendering and modern data-fetching patterns
- Take ownership of frontend architecture within a feature-based structure across a Turborepo monorepo
- Contribute to and evolve our Design System (Shadcn UI, Tailwind CSS) ensuring consistency across web and mobile surfaces
- Work with RTK Query, Redux Toolkit and React Query for robust, scalable data management
- Develop and document components in Storybook following component-driven development practices
- Drive Core Web Vitals and frontend performance improvements
- Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews with a focus on long-term code quality
- Collaborate with backend teams on .NET/MVC projects where frontend integration is needed
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery cycles
What We’re Looking For
Must-have:
- 5+ years of experience with React, with strong TypeScript fundamentals
- Production experience with Next.js, including SSR and SSG patterns
- Hands‑on experience with TurboRepo or similar monorepo tooling
- Proficiency with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (Shadcn or similar)
- Experience with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query or React Query for state and server state management
- Solid understanding of web performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
- Experience with Storybook or component-driven development workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
- Strong grasp of feature-based frontend architecture
Nice to Have:
- Schema validation with Zod
- React Native with Expo experience
- Experience with .NET/MVC projects and Bootstrap-based legacy frontend integration
- Background in e-commerce or travel/tourism domain
- Experience working on high-traffic, enterprise-scale applications
