We are seeking a skilled Senior Frontend Developer with 5+ years of experience in Next.js and React to join our innovative biomedical startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building responsive, user-friendly web applications and a passion for creating cutting-edge user interfaces for healthcare software.

QOVES is a biomedical startup focused on improving patient experiences in cosmetic medical clinics through software. We develop AI-powered applications that predict post-surgery appearances and assist in diagnosing the necessity of cosmetic procedures. Our goal is to transform cosmetic surgery consultations into a well-defined, clinical process of diagnosis and visualization through our software integrations with clinics.
Your Role
- Developing and maintaining our web applications using Next.js and React
- Collaborating with our AI and backend teams to integrate complex functionalities into user-friendly interfaces
- Implementing responsive designs that work across various devices and screen sizes
- Optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability • Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to our frontend architecture decisions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in frontend development
- Strong proficiency in Next.js and React
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Recoil)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Version control with Git
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to address them
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a startup environment
- Knowledge of TypeScript
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library
- Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
