Senior Frontend Developer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced and rock-solid Frontend Engineer. You’ll be working on a highly transactional web platform, serving millions of active users, where performance, scalability, and user experience are critical. You'd have significant understanding of scaling, systems and the end user in order to contribute and be joining an engineering team who've attracted to some very bright minds to join them.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine new features for a high-traffic, transactional site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure stability and performance.
• Collaborate with designers, QA, and back-end developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develop reusable components and modules that support scalability.
• Stay up to date with new tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience as a Front-End Developer
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency with a JS framework (or Angular)
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests.
• Skilled in CSS pre-processors such as Sass, Less, or SCSS.
• Experience using Git and working within an agile environment.
• Background in writing front-end unit tests.
