Ritzau is looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to play a key role in the development of our digital platforms and user experiences. In this role, you will build intuitive, high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript, while helping scale and evolve the technological foundation of our products.

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Ritzau,you’llplay a key role in shaping and scaling our web applications. You willbe responsible forbuilding intuitive, high-performance, and maintainable user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
Core Responsibilities
You’llensure that our different frontend clients meet usability, accessibility, and performance standards while enabling fast iterations and clean, scalable code.

You'll be working across the following areas:
- Design, develop, andmaintainmodern, responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Implement best practices for state management,componentarchitecture, and code quality.
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and responsiveness across devices.
- Optimizefrontendperformance and drive improvements in scalability.
- Contribute to architectural discussions andfrontendtechnical direction.
- Mentor junior developers, provide constructive code reviews, and share frontend best practices.
- Continuously improve build pipelines, testing strategies, and deployment processes.

We are working on new greenfield products with a focus on helping our existing media customers but also expanding into new customer segments. Together with a team of developers, designers, and product managers,you’llplay a critical role in transforming our products into a seamless and modern SaaS experience.
Do youhavewhat it takes?
To thrive in this role, the preferred candidate should have experience in several of the following areas:
- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Solidexpertisein React (hooks, context, andcomponentdesign patterns).
- Strong TypeScript skills and in-depth understanding of typed APIs.
- Good knowledge of modern CSS (Tailwind V4,shadcn).
- Experience with testing frameworks (Vitest, Testing Library,Playwright, or similar).
- Understanding of application state management (Zustand, Recoil, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and modern frontend build tools (Vite or similar).
- Strongproblem-solvingskills and a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Ability to read and understand Danish.
