Senior Frontend Developer

Duration: Contract - 6 months (Possible Extension)

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer (Angular/React) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Angular (v10+), React, modern front-end engineering, and design system implementation and a proven ability to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance web applications and translate Figma designs into accessible, production-ready interfaces.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Angular and React applications.
• Build reusable, modular, and performant UI components, services, and modules.
• Collaborate with Product and UX to translate Figma designs into accessible, high-quality user interfaces.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate design-to-code workflows and prototyping.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and platform services.
• Apply best practices for state management, security, and error handling.
• Adhere to Citi secure coding standards, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Support releases and troubleshoot production front-end issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of front-end or web development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular (v10+) and React.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Experience translating Figma or similar design tool outputs into production UIs.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of web security principles including XSS, CSRF, and authentication flows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to AI-assisted UX/design-to-code tools and prototyping accelerators.
• Collaboration with globally distributed engineering and design teams.
