Senior Frontend Developer - User Experience Focus

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to lead the creation of exceptional user interfaces in Polokwane . This role requires a deep understanding of modern web technologies and a strong commitment to user experience design principles. You will be responsible for translating complex design concepts into intuitive, responsive, and high-performing web applications. Collaborating closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers, you will play a key role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our client's digital products, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional for end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement responsive, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to ensure fidelity and accuracy in translating design mockups into functional code.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented frontend code, adhering to established coding standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior frontend developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend issues, ensuring a seamless and positive user experience across all devices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX expertise.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Expertise in at least one major frontend framework like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
