Senior Frontend Engineer
Summary
This role involves building and maintaining enterprise-grade financial user interfaces using React and TypeScript. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize AI-assisted development tools to deliver high-quality, tested code.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join XC product. As a frontend engineer, you will play a critical role in crafting user-centric, performant, and scalable interfaces that power our enterprise financial solutions using industry standard technologies like React, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, back-end engineers, and engineering leaders to translate complex business requirements into clean, maintainable code. You will contribute to frontend architecture decisions, establish best practices in UI development, and champion design consistency, accessibility, and overall product quality.
You will also be empowered to use modern agentic coding tools thoughtfully to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, explore solutions, and raise the team’s engineering leverage while maintaining strong judgment, ownership, and review standards.

Responsibilities

Operate as a product engineer focused on solving real user and business problems, not clearing a backlog. You bring ideas, challenge assumptions, and own outcomes.

Serve as the frontend technical lead for CMG’s XC product, helping set direction for the team.

Work in an AI-first development flow. Use tools like Claude, Codex and GitHub Copilot not just to go faster, but to do more: explore multiple approaches, validate ideas quickly, and build things that previously wouldn't have been worth the effort.

Uphold a high-quality bar. Engineers write their own tests at the unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, and every line of code, human-written or AI-assisted, is reviewed by a human before it ships.

Collaborate with product teams to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality code.

Collaborate with senior engineers and engineering managers to ensure that the overall product meets all requirements and specifications.

Drive technical improvements across the codebase. Proactively identify friction, propose changes, and see them through to adoption.

Be a first responder for production. Use DataDog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Microsoft Azure to quickly diagnose incidents, minimize impact, and harden the system against recurrence.
Qualifications

English level - C1 or C2

React: 3+ years

Software engineering: 5+ Years

Experience leading frontend technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and driving UI architecture standards

Demonstrated ability to use agentic coding tools (we use Claude, Codex, and CoPilot) productively while maintaining high standards for correctness, security, maintainability, and team collaboration

Fintech experience or .NET knowledge is a plus
