ABOUT RANKTRACKER

Ranktracker is a SaaS platform for SEO professionals, agencies and businesses.
⠀
Our tools cover rank tracking, keyword research, competitor analysis, backlinks, website auditing, SERP analysis and AI search visibility.

We are based in Poland and work remotely.
⠀
THE ROLE
⠀
You will be the only frontend developer working on the Ranktracker application.
⠀
You will work closely with our senior backend developer and take ownership of the frontend.
⠀
We do not usually provide detailed Figma designs or pixel-perfect mockups. Most work comes from GitHub tickets containing requirements, screenshots, examples and acceptance criteria.

You need to be able to take a ticket, understand the problem, make sensible UI/UX decisions and deliver the finished feature independently.
⠀
CLAUDE CODE
⠀
We use Claude Code as part of our development workflow and expect you to use it effectively.
⠀
However, we are not looking for a vibe coder.
⠀
You must be a strong developer who actually knows how to code and understands the codebase, architecture and code you are writing.
⠀
Claude Code should make you faster. It should not replace your technical knowledge.
⠀
You should be able to review generated code, spot bad implementations, debug problems yourself, refactor properly and make sensible architectural decisions.

If you cannot explain how your code works, it should not be shipped.

• Build new Ranktracker tools and features
• Improve existing parts of the application
• Build dashboards, tables, charts and filters
• Work with large amounts of SEO data
• Integrate GraphQL and REST APIs
• Build responsive and reusable components
• Improve UI/UX
• Fix bugs and performance issues
• Test your own work before release

We use Mantine UI, but we do not rely heavily on presets. We often build our own components so we have full control over the markup, behaviour and styling.

You do not need to be a backend developer, but you should be comfortable working with APIs and working closely with the backend developer.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong React and TypeScript experience
• Strong HTML and CSS
• GraphQL and REST API experience
• Good understanding of frontend architecture
• Experience with state management
• Experience building SaaS or data-heavy applications
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good UI/UX judgement
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to work from GitHub tickets without detailed designs
• Good Git/GitHub workflow
• Comfortable using Claude Code properly
• Strong attention to detail

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We want someone who can take ownership of the frontend and genuinely knows what they are doing.
⠀
You should be proactive, able to make sensible decisions and comfortable working without constant supervision.
⠀
If something does not make sense, raise it.
⠀
If the UX can be improved, suggest it.
⠀
If Claude Code produces something poor, fix it rather than accepting it.
⠀
If a feature is not properly tested, it is not finished.
