Senior Frontend Engineer (React / TypeScript)
You will own the frontend of one of two products: Strium, a fully on-chain exchange where you design and build trading UIs with order books, charts, order and position management over real-time data; or the Startale App, a digital asset super app where you build wallet experiences, real-time data screens, and dApp integrations. You will lead the evolution of frontend system design, patterns, and best practices, write production-quality code in TypeScript and React, maintain and expand a Playwright-based E2E test suite, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend in squad-level decision making. No blockchain experience is required — you can catch up on on-chain knowledge after joining.
Responsibilities
- Lead the evolution of frontend system design, patterns, and best practices
- Design and implement trading UIs including order books, charts, orders, and position management (Strium)
- Own frontend workstreams from design through implementation and release, including wallet experiences, real-time data screens, and dApp integrations (Startale App)
- Implement production-quality code in TypeScript and React
- Maintain and expand the Playwright-based E2E test suite
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend and participate in squad decision making
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional work experience and advanced English proficiency (English is the company language), plus at least 3 of the following
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a frontend engineer
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript
- Experience with TanStack Start or an equivalent framework such as Next.js or Remix
- Solid knowledge of React patterns, performance optimization, and application design
- Ability to work autonomously, resolving ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
- Conversational or better English skills
- Willingness and curiosity to quickly learn unknown domains (blockchain experience not required)
