Senior Frontend Software Engineer (New York only)
Summary
Build and optimize React/TypeScript frontends for a crypto product, integrating with Solana and REST APIs while collaborating on design and product direction.
Build the future of on-chain capital markets at Loopscale by developing performant, accessible user interfaces and leading application features from design through production.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly implement functional user interface elements from designs
- Optimize interfaces for performance and accessibility
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve application software
- Guide product direction
- Lead end-to-end development of new features
- Collaborate with product teams and external partners throughout the development cycle
- Implement and uphold coding standards focused on extensibility, maintainability, and comprehensive testing
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Experience in client-side React and TypeScript application development and architecture
- Excellent system design and debugging skills
- Familiarity with REST APIs, MySQL, and GCP
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with ambiguous requirements
- Interest in a hybrid product designer and developer role
- Portfolio of design work and familiarity with Figma
- Understanding of blockchain development and the Solana client-side stack
- Familiarity with blockchain application user experience and product flows
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Located in New York or willing to relocate to New York
