Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 days remote per week).

As a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, committed to innovation and digital transformation. You will help build and deploy scalable, secure AI-powered products that enhance banking operations and customer experiences.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full-stack AI applications, including web UI, backend services, and ML components.
  • Develop and operate large language model-enabled services such as prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, tool invocation, and evaluations.
  • Build APIs and microservices to seamlessly integrate models with enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Implement data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, indexing, and retrieval, including vector stores.
  • Create intuitive front-end experiences for AI features like chatbots, copilots, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Establish MLOps/LLMOps practices: CI/CD, model/version management, monitoring, and drift detection.
  • Define and execute testing strategies: unit, integration, offline evaluations, security red-teaming, and performance testing.
  • Optimize AI applications for latency, cost-efficiency, and reliability through caching, batching, and observability.
  • Ensure security, privacy, and compliance by design, including access controls and auditability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes aligned with business goals.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering with full-stack delivery.
  • Strong expertise in Python, Java, or Node.js, with API development (REST/GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
  • Frontend skills with React or TypeScript, including component design and state management.
  • Practical experience working with LLMs, embeddings, RAG patterns, and evaluation techniques.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, document stores/search engines like Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, and vector databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • DevOps expertise including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), and monitoring tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry).
  • Strong understanding of secure coding principles and OWASP standards.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks, and tool integrations.
  • Knowledge of model governance, explainability, and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience developing internal developer platforms or reusable AI components.
  • Domain experience within regulated environments like financial services.

Language Required for the role:

  • Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).

Eligibility for the role:
