Summary
Senior engineer who architects and deploys full-stack cloud applications with Java (Spring Boot), React, and PostgreSQL on Google Cloud, while leading migrations of legacy ASP.NET/C# systems to cloud-native services and building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions in Agile, globally distributed teams.
- Architect, build, and deploy full-stack cloud applications using Java, React, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Run
- Lead migration and modernization of legacy ASP.NET/C# backends and SQL Server databases into modern cloud-native services
- Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines using GitHub Actions, API security tooling, and automated testing suites
- Author unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code coverage, reliability, and security compliance
- Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and global engineering squads across Mexico, the US, and India
- Translate complex business requirements into user-friendly software solutions
- Champion Agile engineering practices within bi-weekly sprint cycles
- Lead story mapping, technical documentation, and code reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- Typically 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, including hands-on experience migrating enterprise applications to modern cloud environments
- Proficiency in modern Java development, such as Spring Boot
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud Run and Cloud SQL
- Foundational experience with C# / .NET and relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Strong working knowledge of React or Angular
- Experience with RESTful API design
- Experience with XML/JSON data processing
- Experience with Git-based workflows
- Demonstrated experience implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams across distributed global time zones
- Professional working proficiency in English, verbal and written
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
