Senior Full Stack Developer
Summary
Senior Full Stack Developer joining a small team building and maintaining the DocsCentre B2B platform, which provides company, trust and super fund establishment and secretarial services for the finance industry. Day-to-day work spans full-lifecycle web development with PHP, Node.js, Vue/React (plus legacy Knockout/Twig), AWS cloud infrastructure as code, and RESTful APIs.
Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 per year
About the role
Senior Full Stack Developer working in a small team developing and enhancing the DocsCentre eco-system. DocsCentre is a leader in the finance industry providing dedicated establishment and secretarial services for Companies, Trusts and Super Funds. You will build web-based B2B systems with cutting-edge technologies to provide a wide range of services and products that enable businesses to grow and expand fast. You will report to the Engineering manager and be fully involved in all aspects of the development life cycle including planning, designing, coding, and testing applications from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
Development and maintenance of customer and operation facing systems
Creating and maintaining online forms using PHP, Node.js, Vue.js, React.js
Maintain legacy code base using knockout.js and twig
Managing data entry and ensuring conformity with data requirements
Building and managing cloud-based systems in AWS or similar cloud platforms
Building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation or similar
Implementing and working with RESTful APIs
About you
At least 7+ years of experience in a similar role
At least 5 years with Vue.js or React and strong javascript experience
Strong PHP, Node and Mysql skills, with proven experience in developing software and following coding standards and guidelines
At least 5 years in building and managing cloud-based systems in AWS or similar cloud platform
Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure as code (i.e Terraform, CloudFormation or similar) will be highly regarded
Experience using GIT and agile processes
Strong knowledge of Docker is essential for this role
Experience in migration systems to AWS will be highly regarded
Strong communication skills
Experience in backend technologies
Experience in Agile software development practices
Background in Financial Services and knowledge of SMSF would be highly regarded
