What you’ll do

  • Build and improve features across frontend and backend
  • Design and develop APIs and backend services
  • Work with databases, integrations, and system logic
  • Ensure scalable, reliable, and maintainable code
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams

Must-have

  • Strong full stack foundation in Node.js, React.js, APIs, and production feature ownership
  • Proven experience scaling production systems and handling growing usage or complexity
  • Strong database and transaction fundamentals, including performance, consistency, retries, and duplicate handling
  • Hands on production troubleshooting with root cause analysis, fixes, and prevention measures
  • Senior level ownership and technical judgment across architecture, trade offs, and end to end delivery

Nice to have

  • Experience with Docker or containerization
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or similar)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployments
  • Exposure to microservices or scalable system design
  • Experience with third-party integrations (e.g., payments like Stripe)

If you’re someone who enjoys building real products, solving meaningful problems, and working in a fast-moving team, we’d love to hear from you. Work from your home country, with working hours aligned to the Sydney timezone and flexibility built in.
