Summary
6-month remote contract for a senior full-stack engineer focused mainly on backend C#/.NET 6 development — solving performance and scalability problems, shaping architecture, and providing 2nd/3rd line support — with some Angular/Next.js frontend work, building a UK golf-membership platform. Fixed PKT shift hours, no weekends.
As a Sr. Full Stack Engineer - C#/ Angular, you will join the growing technology team of an award-winning UK business specializing in changing and adapting how golf memberships work around the world. Golf is a fast-growing and hugely popular sport globally, and the business is a leader within its field.
This is a senior role focused primarily on backend software development, with responsibility for solving performance and scalability challenges, supporting strategic architecture planning and making technology choices. You will work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver projects while contributing to technical support and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Develop backend software using C#.
- Solve technical problems relating to performance and scalability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and deliver projects.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with C# and .NET 6.0 Web API.
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server.
- 1 year of experience with Angular and Next.js.
- Understanding of Azure.
- Prior experience with software integrations, including REST and SOAP.
- Strong communication skills, which are fundamental to this role.
- Ability to understand the bigger picture, proactively seek opportunities for improvement and understand user needs.
- Willingness to share experience and mentor others.
- Open-mindedness and a desire to learn new skills and technologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Redis or other NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with Hangfire or other asynchronous job systems.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Solid architectural experience.
