Senior Full Stack Developer
Summary
Build and maintain web applications using PHP, Laravel, WordPress, and modern frontend tools like Tailwind CSS and JavaScript.
Salary: £40,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements:- We need someone with at least 2-3 years of commercial experience in most of the following: PHP, including Laravel, WordPress and Vanilla PHP
- We need WordPress development experience, including editable backend/admin areas
- We need Laravel development experience, including Blade and Forge
- We need HTML and CSS skills
- We need experience with Stylus, Sass and Tailwind CSS
- We need MySQL and database management experience
- We need JavaScript experience, particularly Vue.js
- We need experience using Git and GitHub
- We need experience working in Linux server environments, particularly CentOS and Ubuntu
- We need server troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- We need knowledge of Cloudflare, website security tools and general security best practice
- We need experience with backend booking systems or similar internal platforms
- We need experience with API integrations and connecting systems with third-party platforms
- Experience with Apache Cordova, Capacitor.js or Electron would be highly beneficial
- Experience building and deploying mobile apps, including to Apples App Store and Google Play, would be highly beneficial
- Experience with RingCentral or similar phone and communication system integrations would be highly beneficial
- Experience with booking platforms, CRM systems, payment systems, SMS/email systems or other operational software would be highly beneficial
- We are looking for a positive, confident team player with strong attention to detail
- We need someone who can work independently, take ownership of projects and communicate clearly with non-technical team members

- We will rely on you to maintain, improve and develop our WordPress and Laravel websites
- We will expect you to work on backend booking systems and editable admin areas
- You will build and improve internal tools used by our office and bookings team
- You will work with PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Vanilla PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Vue.js
- You will improve frontend areas using HTML, CSS, Sass, Stylus and Tailwind CSS
- You will troubleshoot bugs, errors and technical issues across our websites and apps
- You will work with Linux server environments, including CentOS and Ubuntu
- You will help resolve server, hosting, Cloudflare, security and performance issues
- You will support app development and app updates
- You will deploy apps to Apples App Store and Google Play
- You will use Git and GitHub as part of our development workflow
- You will help integrate our booking system with third-party platforms such as RingCentral and other software providers
- You will work on API integrations and improve how our systems communicate with each other
- You will support the wider office team when IT solutions are needed
- You will work closely with our director and marketing manager to identify improvements and deliver practical solutions
