The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior Software Developer. This remote‑first position offers the opportunity to work across core product areas such as Banking, Investing, and Financial Systems, shipping impactful features across both web and mobile platforms. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists and fellow developers to solve complex challenges and deliver high‑quality, user‑centric software.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features across web and mobile applications.
- Ship projects leveraging technologies including Ruby on Rails, Python, Java/Kotlin, React, Angular, and AWS.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver intuitive and delightful client experiences.
- Drive operational excellence, improve documentation, and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience scoping and building medium‑to‑large features for distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and relational databases (SQL).
- Hands‑on experience with frontend and backend frameworks, GraphQL, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Temporal, DataDog, and mobile development.
- Experience in fintech or B2C applications is a strong plus.
