Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Responsibility:

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of responsive web applications and platforms.
• Develop clean, scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performance code across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Build and maintain user-facing interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications using technologies such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar server-side frameworks.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, third-party services, and other system integrations.
• Design, optimize, and maintain databases, including relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain secure authentication, authorization, and application security practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective and sustainable solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, development best practices, security guidelines, and software architecture principles.
• Lead the use of Git and version control workflows, including branching, merging, pull requests, and release management.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements and wireframes into functional, user-friendly applications.
• Monitor and optimise application performance, scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Participate in system architecture and technical decision-making for new and existing applications.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, development tools, and industry best practices.
• Support the Team/Department or Admin with technical tasks and other responsibilities as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in full stack web development, with demonstrated experience handling both frontend and backend development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Strong experience with at least one modern frontend framework/library such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong backend development experience using PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Solid understanding of database design, SQL, and database optimization, with experience in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
• Strong knowledge of API development and integration, including RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Proficiency with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong understanding of responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser web development.
• Knowledge of web application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to independently manage development tasks, meet deadlines, and take ownership of projects.
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other developers is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices or scalable application architecture.
• Experience with WordPress, Drupal, or other CMS platforms, particularly when integrating custom functionality or APIs.
• Experience with automated testing and test-driven development.
• Knowledge of SEO, web accessibility, and web performance optimization.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and application performance tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience leading or contributing to end-to-end software development projects.
