Job Summary

As a Senior Full Stack Developer - Hybrid, Mandaluyong City you will support the development and implementation of Trade, Supply Chain, and Microfinance Platform (TSCMF). This Terms of Reference (ToR) is for a senior, hands on technical role responsible for solution design quality, technical feasibility, and delivery assurance across the TSCMF platform. This role is critical in enhancing the technological infrastructure and capabilities of the TSCMF product team, ensuring that the solution is scalable, resilient, and aligned with modern cloud computing standards.

We are looking for an Senior Full Stack Developer - Hybrid, Mandaluyong City to assesses complex technical and business problems, evaluates solution options and trade offs (e.g., pros/cons of each viable option), and provides clear recommendations that balance business value, technical feasibility, risk, and delivery constraints. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Mandaluyong City.

  • Communicating with business and IT stakeholders to analyze their requirements and to present outputs and deliverables to them

  • Support development tasks and ensure continuous alignment with defined goals

  • Developing front-end and back-end components using prescribed technologies and development tools

  • Ensuring the seamless integration of various systems or services

  • Support the implementation of coding standards and best practices that are aligned with ADB engineering standards

  • Optimizing applications or services for maximum speed and scalability

  • Implementing security and data protection measures

  • Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality and stable deliverables

  • Creating and reviewing technical documentation

  • Reviewing vendor technical outputs and deliverables

  • Staying updated with emerging technologies to recommend improvements

  • Planning and conducting system deployments or releases, including data migration (if applicable)

  • Providing hypercare support on delivered products or services

  • Delivering robust, user-friendly, and efficient solutions that align with ADB's standards and the TSCMF product team’s goals

  • Design and develop scalable and robust cloud-native solutions. Ensure the architecture aligns with best practices for cloud-native applications, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing

  • Set up and configure cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate deployment and scaling

  • Develop, test and deliver front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies. Implement APIs and integrate with third-party services as required. Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews

  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes. Ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features and updates

  • Implement security best practices to protect data and applications. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards

  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the application and infrastructure. Implement caching, load balancing, and other techniques to enhance performance and reliability

  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for the developed solutions, including architecture diagrams, code comments, and user guides

  • Provide training and support to the development team and stakeholders

  • Assist, advise, and guide the development team (including vendor team, if applicable) on the above tasks

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree would be advantageous

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on cloud-native design and architecture

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and frameworks like React or Angular

  • Expertise in back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing

  • Strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design

  • Experience with agile development methodologies

  • Experience designing fault-tolerant, event-driven systems using Temporal (workflow orchestration)

  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions that meet project requirements and industry standards

  • Relevant technical certifications and applied skills / knowledge are a plus
