Senior Full Stack Developer

Why This Role Exists

Infomerics is building a hands-on application and product development team to work alongside the Head of Product Engineering, who owns the overall technology and architecture direction. This role is a technical lead position owning feature-level design and delivery, and mentoring junior developers, within the architecture the Head of Product Engineering sets.

This is being hired as part of a pool of developers, not a single hire Talent Acquisition should expect to source multiple candidates against this profile as the team scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of features end-to-end, from technical approach through implementation and testing
• Write high-quality, production-grade code across the application stack and set the technical bar through code reviews
• Make sound day-to-day technical decisions within the architecture and standards set by the Lead - Product Engineering
• Mentor and review the work of Junior Developers, helping them grow toward more independent ownership
• Identify and flag technical debt, risks, or architectural concerns to the Head of Product Engineering
• Collaborate closely with product stakeholders to translate requirements into well-built, maintainable features
• Contribute to setting coding standards and best practices for the growing developer pool

Must-Have

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 68 years of hands-on software development experience, including demonstrated ownership of features end-to-end not only executing tickets assigned by someone else
• Strong, full-stack hands-on experience with a modern open-source stack (e.g., Node.js/Python backend, React/Angular frontend, relational and/or NoSQL databases)
• Experience conducting code reviews and setting technical standards for others
• Solid grasp of API design, system design fundamentals, and writing testable, maintainable code
• Comfortable working within an architecture set by someone else while still exercising independent technical judgement day-to-day
