Senior Full Stack Developer (Java + Angular)

Join a long-term digital transformation project!

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join an international team working on the modernization of a large-scale corporate banking platform. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the transformation of a legacy system into a modern, API-driven architecture while collaborating with highly skilled professionals in an Agile environment.

Location

Hybrid model (3 days per week in the office)

Office locations:

  • Warsaw (preferred)

  • Gdańsk

  • Gdynia

Your responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs using Java and Spring

  • Build and enhance backend services based on microservices and monolithic architecture

  • Participate in a large-scale legacy modernization initiative

  • Develop integrations between multiple enterprise systems

  • Contribute to frontend development using Angular

  • Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit & Jasmine)

  • Support BDD testing using Cucumber

  • Perform code reviews and ensure high code quality

  • Work with SQL databases, including query optimization and schema design

  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and QA teams

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (SAFe framework)

  • Prepare technical documentation for APIs and solutions

Required skills

  • Strong commercial experience with Java

  • Experience with Angular

  • Hands-on knowledge of Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Hibernate

  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs

  • Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture

  • Good knowledge of SQL

  • Experience with Jasmine

  • Familiarity with Git

Nice to have

  • Experience with Reactive Programming (WebFlux, Project Reactor)

  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

  • Experience with Hexagonal (Ports & Adapters) Architecture

  • Experience with Cucumber / BDD

  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
