Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, Linux, Cyberport)
Summary
Senior full stack developer who designs, builds, tests, and supports a Hong Kong platform end to end — from requirements and architecture through production rollout and troubleshooting, plus liaising with adopting organisations on API integration and reviewing vendor deliverables. Core stack: Java, web services, and MariaDB on Linux with Kubernetes/OpenShift containers.
Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, Linux, Cyberport)
Conduct requirements studies, system architecture design, application design, system development, system testing, and user acceptance for enhancements to the Platform and for integration with other systems
Liaise with B/Ds or organisations adopting the Platform and assist them in developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for system integration and data interchange
Provide support for the production of the Platform, including troubleshooting production issues, monitoring system stability, production rollout, and maintenance
Review vendors' deliverables and assist the internal project manager in coordinating and monitoring project-related activities
Provide technical advice and direction to the team in enhancing and maintaining the Platform
Requirements:
Higher Diploma / Degree in Computing or related subjects
At least 4 years experience in application development
At least 2 years working experience in Java program, web service, MariaDB or equivalent
At least 2 years working experience in Linux system administration
At least 2 years working experience in System Analysis and Design
At least 1 year working experience in container-based technology, such as Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift
Experience and skills in managing application development projects
Good command of spoken Cantonese and strong proficiency in spoken and writing skill in English
