Senior Full Stack Developer

Role & responsibilities:

• Own the architecture, development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of web applications, websites, dashboards, and internal platforms.
• Build scalable frontend applications using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Develop secure backend services and APIs using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Design and optimize databases, including PostgreSQL or MySQL, with appropriate indexing, migrations, and backup strategies.
• Manage AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, databases, networking, and access controls.
• Configure and maintain Cloudflare, including DNS, CDN, SSL/TLS, caching, firewall rules, and application protection.
• Oversee Linux servers, Nginx, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and production troubleshooting.
• Establish reliable deployment, rollback, backup, and disaster recovery processes.
• Integrate CRM systems, LMS platforms, payment gateways, communication tools, and other third-party services.
• Improve application performance, scalability, security, availability, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into technical plans, realistic timelines, and maintainable solutions.
• Review code, mentor developers, establish engineering standards, and coordinate with external technology vendors where required.
• Collaborate with marketing, admissions, and operations teams to improve user journeys and business workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation of architecture, infrastructure, integrations, and operational procedures

Preferred candidate profile :

• 10+ years of professional software development experience, with substantial experience in full-stack development and ownership of production systems.
• Strong recent, hands-on experience with Next.js, React.js, Python, and Django.
• Proven experience designing and delivering applications from requirements through production deployment.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, API design, database optimization, authentication, and role-based access.
• Practical experience managing production workloads on AWS and Google Cloud, alongside Cloudflare configuration and administration.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration, Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience implementing automated testing, code reviews, monitoring, and incident resolution practices.
• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, manage technical debt, and improve existing systems.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical delivery while remaining actively involved in coding.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
