Summary
Builds and maintains a web-based robot programming and orchestration platform using Vue 3, TypeScript, Django, and GraphQL, working on-site in Munich to deliver features and integrate with robotic hardware.
As a Full-Stack Developer (m/f/d) at Agile Robots, you will become part of a talented,international team developing powerful web-based software platforms to orchestrate, program,and control complex robotic systems. Our solutions are deployed by customers worldwide in mission-critical environments where reliability, smooth integration, and high performance are essential. Leveraging Vue 3, TypeScript, and Django, you will deliver intuitive user interfaces and robust backend services—playing a key role in shaping the future of industrial robotics
- Core Platform Development: Work on-site at our Munich headquarters to design, develop,and maintain our extendable, web-based agentic robot programming and orchestration platform
- End-to-End Feature Delivery: Build modern features end-to-end, working seamlessly acrossthe Vue 3/TypeScript frontend and the Django/Python backend via a GraphQL interface
- Modern Development & AI Workflows: Leverage AI-assisted development tools (such as Copilot or Cursor) to accelerate delivery, maintain high code quality, and implement software engineering best practices
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with architecture, UI/UX design, product management, and QA teams to build responsive, intuitive, and scalable products
- Hardware & Systems Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing—including unit, integration,end-to-end, and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) tests—directly on cutting-edge hardware(robotic arms, AGVs, humanoid robots) in collaboration with our QA team
- Operational Excellence & Support: Provide third-level support to project development andintegration teams to resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in full-stack or frontend-focused software development using modern frameworks
- Frontend Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Vue 3
- Backend Tech Stack: Hands-on experience developing with Python and backend frameworks like Django, as well as working with APIs (GraphQL / REST)
- Testing & Quality: Proven track record in software testing practices (unit, integration, E2E)and writing clean, maintainable code.Tooling & Process
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitLab), collaborative software platforms, and agile methodologies
- Location: Based in the Munich area or willing to relocate within a maximum of 3 months
- Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
