Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d)

As a Senior Full Stack Developer (m/f/d) based in Darmstadt, you will shape complex digital solutions and take on a high level of technical ownership.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex end-to-end functionality across frontend, backend, APIs, data models and service integrations

  • Take technical ownership of high-quality solutions and set standards for architecture, code quality and sustainable software design

  • Support the team through code reviews, mentoring and pragmatic problem-solving in complex or ambiguous technical situations

  • Build and evolve reusable platform and integration capabilities, for example in authentication, API standards, CI/CD, observability and deployment

  • Investigate production issues in a structured way and derive meaningful improvements in reliability, performance, security and developer experience

  • Work closely with architects, product owners and relevant stakeholders to evaluate technical options and enable incremental, dependable delivery

Your Profile

  • Several years of experience developing production-grade software solutions with Python and modern TypeScript/React applications

  • Strong hands-on expertise across the full software delivery lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment, operations and continuous improvement

  • Sound understanding of software design and code quality, especially in object-oriented programming, testing, API design, database modelling, asynchronous workflows and integration patterns

  • Solid working knowledge of Docker, GitLab CI/CD and observability in day-to-day engineering practice

  • Ability to act as a technical point of reference, sharing knowledge and supporting others through reviews, pairing and technical exchange

  • A strong sense of ownership, sound engineering judgement and a collaborative, delivery-focused mindset
