Our client, a rapidly growing software development company specializing in custom web applications, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both frontend and backend components.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs and database schemas.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web development technologies and best practices.
- Ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in Java Script, Node.js, Express.js, React, and Mongo DB.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including HTML, CSS, and modern Java Script frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
