Senior Full Stack Developer (Next.js)

Summary

Build and maintain full-stack web apps using Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript, integrating APIs and databases while collaborating in Agile teams.

Location: Stadium (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications using Next.js, Node.js and modern web technologies.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Design and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases to support scalable applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while adhering to engineering best practices.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments, and DevOps initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in full-stack web development.
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js, Node.js and Typescript.
  • Experience building scalable web applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system design principles.
  • Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
