Senior Full Stack Developer (Onsite - Fredericton)

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a public sector health application services branch responsible for maintaining and enhancing applications used across regional health authorities and health sector programs. The role focuses on supporting a case management system that captures and manages client information for mental health, addiction services, and public health staff. This position offers the opportunity to work on both steady-state maintenance and project-based initiatives in a dynamic healthcare technology environment.

This position requires someone who can develop, document, code, test and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements while maintaining and creating new stored procedures, managing reports, and supporting application releases. The role encompasses SSRS production support, incident and problem resolution, data conversion scripting, user acceptance testing support, and team documentation updates. Some after-hours and weekend work may be required with advance approval. The successful candidate will work as part of a technical team providing 24/7 support for complex healthcare applications and will participate in team activities including scrums and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 15+ years - demonstrated information management and information technology experience
• 10+ years - demonstrated experience as a Senior Programmer Analyst in programming and analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• 10+ years - developing, documenting, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirements
• 15+ years - experience with database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server
• 15+ years - maintaining and creating new PL/SQL stored procedures
• 10+ years - experience with JAVA
• 10+ years - experience with Linux Batch Jobs
• 5+ years - experience with SSIS
• 5+ years - experience with Microsoft SSRS
• 10+ years - experience with version control software

Nice to Have

• 5+ years - demonstrated experience working with provincial health care and regional health authority applications
