Description

Contract · Remote, Europe · Full-time, 3 months initial, with a strong likelihood of extension

About the client
A UK company providing boutique consulting in development, risk and capital management. Their product is an AI-powered platform that gives teams full transparency at every stage of a development, project or business. It brings together thousands of documents and diverse data, with live tailored dashboards and instant access to every detail. It runs as a stand-alone SaaS or alongside existing systems.
What you’ll do
Build and evolve core features of an enterprise-grade Laravel platform, end to end
Make architectural decisions and keep the codebase clean, scalable and maintainable
Work across backend and frontend (Vue) on immediate product roadmap priorities
Use AI coding tools as a core part of your daily workflow to ship faster without compromising quality
Must have
Senior-level PHP and Laravel: deep knowledge of the framework internals, not just the usage
Strong command of architecture and design patterns (SOLID, DDD, modular design, events and queues), and the judgement to apply them in the right places
Experience on enterprise-scale, complex projects
Deep, hands-on use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar): you know their strengths, limits and quirks, how to structure context and instructions for them, and how to review and verify their output properly
Strong English (B2+), confident in direct communication with the client team
Strong plus
Frontend experience, ideally Vue (React, Angular or other SPA frameworks are fine)
Multi-tenant SaaS, AWS, CI/CD and automated testing
Experience with LLM integrations, agents or MCP
