About the role

Poseidon Distribution OPC is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our growing technology team in Davao City. This is a full-time position where you will take on a strategic role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications that power our distribution operations. As a senior member of the development team, you will be responsible for leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the highest standards of code quality and performance across our technology stack.

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Lead the architecture and implementation of both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code whilst adhering to established coding standards and best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior and peer developers to maintain code quality
• Mentor and support junior developers in their professional growth and technical skill development
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production environments
• Participate in planning, estimation, and sprint activities to deliver projects on schedule
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in full-stack development
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a full-stack development capacity
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Strong proficiency in back-end development using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, or C#
• Demonstrated experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL and NoSQL technologies
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work through complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
