Senior Full Stack Developer (Python) - Networks, Vice President
In this role you will help deliver automated network and security solutions for a global network team, shaping the next generation of network automation. You’ll contribute to a full-stack development effort, aligning software with network infrastructure requirements. You’ll work closely with Network Engineers and cross-functional teams within an agile SDLC to create modular, high-quality code. - Full stack development of solutions to automate Network Technologies
- Contribute to and understand all layers of a full stack application
- Database integration including querying, joins, and optimization
- Develop and test modular, high quality code
- Write automated tests and contribute to all aspects of the SDLC process
- Deliver against requirements and acceptance criteria from a Network Infrastructure team
- Interface with Network Engineers to understand requirements for Network devices
- Collaborate with the development team on a daily basis
- Work within a Scrum framework using agile mindset following SDLC processes
- Ability to work with a variety of infrastructure technologies and third-party products
- Must be able to work a 4x4 hybrid model (4 days in office, 4 weeks per year remote) consistent with State Street Policies
- Python proficiency
- Experience with web frameworks such as Django
- Knowledge of full stack technologies (message brokers, version control, authentication/authorization)
- Experience in RESTful API communication between systems
- Solid experience with JSON and XML data formats
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, Bootstrap, CSS, JavaScript, React)
- Agile and Scrum experience
- Networking automation experience a plus
- Bachelor degree
