Senior full stack developer (remote first)

About the Role

Our client, an innovative technology company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join their completely remote team. This is a leadership position where you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable web applications. You will work across the entire technology stack, from frontend user interfaces to backend services and database management, contributing significantly to the architectural decisions and code quality. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using modern technologies. Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code for both frontend and backend systems. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features. Develop and manage database schemas and queries. Implement and consume RESTful APIs. Ensure application security, performance, and scalability. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the entire stack. Contribute to architectural design and technology selection decisions. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Proven professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex projects. Proficiency in backend languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or C#. Strong experience with frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Expertise in database technologies (e.g., SQL, No SQL like Mongo DB, Postgre SQL). Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Experience with RESTful API design and implementation. Proficiency with version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team setting. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
