Senior Full Stack Developer building secure, scalable applications for an established financial services organisation in Newcastle upon Tyne. Day-to-day work spans C#/.NET backend services, React/TypeScript frontends, RESTful APIs, and deployment on Azure, with a focus on security, reliability, and CI/CD practices.
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will build secure, scalable applications for a business-critical financial environment. You will work across the full stack, shaping architecture and engineering standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You’ll influence technical decisions, implement robust code, and contribute to modern delivery practices in a cloud-enabled setting. This role offers impact across backend services and rich frontend interfaces, with a focus on reliability, performance and security. You’ll join an established financial services organisation that values hands-on delivery and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities- Design, develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET
- Build modern user interfaces with React and TypeScript
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
- Work with Microsoft Azure to build, deploy and support cloud-based applications
- Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Experience across the full technology stack in a financial services or regulated environment is advantageous
- Proficiency with C#, .NET / .NET Core
- Experience with React and TypeScript
