Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Node.js & React)
Location: Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Sepang, Selangor. In this role, you will design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also mentor developers, champion engineering best practices, and contribute to building innovative software solutions for a large-scale business environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
- Mentor software engineers and provide technical leadership on complex initiatives.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
- Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) and promote quality engineering practices.
- Collaborate with QA teams to implement automated testing strategies.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
- Ensure applications meet security, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work closely with Product, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
- Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer/Engineer.
- Strong frontend development experience using:
- React.js (Mandatory)
- HTML5
- CSS3
- Node.js (Mandatory)
- .NET (C#) is an added advantage
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with performance testing and load testing.
- Good understanding of API security, RESTful services, and WebSockets.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of Kong API Gateway.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Exposure to Airline or Airport operational systems is an advantage.
- Experience with Navitaire solutions (New Skies/Open Skies) is highly preferred.
