Required Technical Skill Set

Cloud (AWS), Java, Spring Boot, React js, Swagger / Open API, Splunk, Datadog

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must‑Have

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience in building and documenting APIs using Swagger / OpenAPI.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka for messaging and streaming.
• Proven experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful services.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Team player with experience collaborating across‑teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
• Strong communication skills are essential
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills demonstrating outside‑the‑box problem solving skills

Good‑to‑Have

• Airlines, Travel, or Transport industry experience
• Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of security best practices for enterprise applications.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Certifications in cloud (AWS), Architecture is advantageous

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

• Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end web applications using Java Spring Boot (backend) and React.js (frontend).
• Build secure, scalable, and high‑performance RESTful APIs documented using Swagger (OpenAPI).
• Implement asynchronous and event‑driven processing using Apache Kafka.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using cloud‑native services.
