About the Project

We are building our own centralized, cloud-based Multi-Branch POS, Inventory, Warehouse, Purchasing, Accounting & Reporting System for our retail operations in the UAE. We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer / Technical Lead who has previously worked on complex POS, ERP, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Accounting, or Retail Management Systems. This is not a simple website or basic CRUD application. The system will manage multiple branches, warehouses, cash counters, inventory, purchasing, stock transfers, billing, accounting, payments, approvals and management reporting from one centralized platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the overall architecture of a scalable retail POS/ERP platform.
• Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications.
• Design secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Build a centralized database architecture supporting multiple branches and warehouses.
• Develop real-time inventory synchronization between branches and warehouses.
• Implement barcode and serial-number-based inventory tracking.
• Build purchasing, GRN, stock transfer, sales, returns and exchange workflows.
• Develop role-based access and approval workflows.
• Implement accounting transaction logic and financial reporting.
• Develop dashboards and advanced business reports.
• Build secure audit trails for financial and inventory transactions.
• Implement offline POS capability with automatic synchronization after internet reconnection.
• Integrate payment methods and third-party services.
• Optimize the system for fast billing and high transaction volumes.
• Work closely with management, accountants, warehouse staff and other developers.
• Review code and establish development standards for the project.
• Help lead the technical development team.

Required Technical Skills

Strong experience with: Angular TypeScript Node.js / Express REST APIs MySQL or PostgreSQL Database architecture and optimization Authentication & Role-Based Access Control Git / GitHub Linux Cloud deployment Real-time data synchronization API integrations Performance optimization Experience with technologies such as the following is an advantage: Redis WebSockets Docker AWS CI/CD Queue systems Offline-first application architecture Automated testing

System Performance Expectations

• Supporting multiple branches and warehouses.
• Supporting multiple billing counters simultaneously.
• Handling at least 200 concurrent users.
• Generating invoices quickly without delays.
• Synchronizing inventory across locations in real time.
• Continuing POS billing during internet interruptions.
• Automatically synchronizing offline transactions when connectivity is restored.
• Maintaining complete audit trails for inventory and financial transactions.
• Scaling to additional branches, warehouses and business entities in the future.

Candidate Requirements

Strong professional full-stack development experience. Proven experience working on large business applications. Strong understanding of database architecture and transactional systems. Excellent understanding of inventory and stock movement logic. Experience with secure financial or transaction-based applications. Ability to understand complex business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Ability to work on-site in Sharjah, UAE. Important Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate previous POS, ERP inventory, warehouse, or similar systems they have developed and clearly explain their role in those projects. Shortlisted candidates may be given a technical assessment based on POS and inventory management scenarios.
