Systems is placing a senior full-stack contractor to build an AI quoting tool for a manufacturing client: RFQ extraction and quote generation using Angular, Node.js/TypeScript, AWS Lambda/Aurora, and Claude on Amazon Bedrock. 6-week contract; Calgary preferred or 100% remote across Canada on MST.

Our manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to build an AI quoting tool using Angular, Node.js, AWS, and Claude on AWS (Amazon Bedrock)
6 week contract to start - Calgary Candidate preffered, but open to 100% remote across Canada (working MST)
Must Haves
- 8+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Development using Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Experience with AWS development including Lambda and Aurora
- LLM-based application development, workflows, structured output, and prompt tuning using Claude code on Amazon Bedrock
- Previous experience with Document extraction from text, PDF, Word, Excel, and images for line-item and specification processing
- Previous experience with applications that work on RFP"s or RFQ"'s
Nice to Have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Claude Code or similar agentic coding tools
Responsibilities
- Build AI-driven workflows for RFQ extraction and quote generation
- Develop web application functionality for quote review, editing, and pricing
- Implement document extraction from emails and file attachments
- Generate Word-based sales quotes from application data and templates
- Develop front-end functionality using Angular
- Develop back-end services using Node.js, TypeScript, Lambda, and Aurora
- Translate customer requirements into working solutions across the technology stack
