Senior Full-Stack Engineer, AI-Powered RCM

Summary

Builds a new AI-powered revenue cycle management platform for dental workflows, integrating LLMs into claims and imaging pipelines using TypeScript/Node.js, React, and healthcare data standards.

We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer to join greenfield product development on a new AI-powered revenue cycle management (RCM) product — built on a platform that moves dental records and imaging (CBCT, DICOM) between general practices, specialists, and dental schools. The engagement is fractional and milestone-based, with a quick sprint cadence and no fixed working hours — work is measured by shipped features and merged PRs. It can grow into a larger ongoing commitment as the product scales.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building full-stack features in TypeScript / Node.js (Express, MySQL, Redis, Zod) and React 18 (Vite, TanStack Query, Tailwind);

  • Integrating LLMs into product workflows — we build with Claude — including model harnesses, structured outputs, and data pipelines;

  • Working with structured healthcare data and claims flows;

  • Submitting PRs to dev and passing the same review and CI gates as the core team (GitHub Actions, dev → staging → prod).

What we expect from you:

  • Senior-level full-stack TypeScript / Node.js experience;

  • Hands-on AI / LLM integration experience in production;

  • Strong React product UI skills;

  • Experience with data pipelines and structured data;

  • Strong English; ability to self-manage as an independent contributor;

  • Daily use of AI tooling (Claude, Cursor) in your workflow;

  • US healthcare / claims / RCM domain experience;

  • HIPAA / PHI handling experience.

We offer:

  • Interesting product challenges at the intersection of healthcare data and AI;

  • Work in a small, focused founding team with a modern, AI-native development practice;

  • Flexible fractional engagement — outcome-driven, no fixed hours, fully remote;

  • Milestone-based cadence with room to grow into a larger ongoing commitment;

  • Lack of bureaucracy and direct collaboration with the founding team;

  • Trial period to validate the fit before scaling up the engagement.
