Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI)
Summary
Senior Full-Stack Engineer responsible for building and maintaining web, mobile, and AI-powered features for a healthcare-focused product. Core work includes developing Next.js/React/TypeScript apps, React Native mobile apps, backend services, and AI-driven capabilities like LLMs and voice agents, while ensuring production reliability and customer impact.
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer to take ownership across our web application, mobile experience, backend services and AI-enabled capabilities. You will write production code, ship end-to-end features, review pull requests, make pragmatic engineering decisions and contribute to the reliability of a product used by customers every day.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain web applications using Next.js, React and TypeScript
Develop and ship mobile functionality using React Native and Expo for iOS and Android
Deliver full-stack features across user interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases and integrations
Build and improve AI-enabled product features using LLMs, structured outputs, prompt design and evaluation practices
Contribute to voice-agent and conversational-AI capabilities, including telephony, real-time audio and voice workflows
Design and maintain reliable data models, APIs, authentication and access-control patterns
Maintain production quality through testing, code review, monitoring, debugging and incident response
Work with product and leadership to turn customer needs into well-scoped, high-quality releases
Help strengthen engineering standards, documentation and practical AI-assisted development workflows
About you
5-8 years of commercial full-stack software-development experience
Strong production experience with TypeScript, React and Next.js
Experience building and shipping production applications using Node.js and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
Experience with React Native and Expo, including at least one shipped iOS or Android application
Experience delivering consumer or B2B software used by real customers
Experience integrating LLMs or AI capabilities into production workflows
Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Aider or equivalent
Experience with cloud-hosted production systems, CI/CD, monitoring and debugging
Ability to work independently, own technical outcomes and collaborate through substantive code review
Availability to work full-time and on-site in Hampton, Melbourne
