Senior Full Stack Engineer
About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys working across the stack and building reliable, scalable products. You’ll work on backend services, frontend applications, and the infrastructure that connects them.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can take a feature from technical design to production, make pragmatic decisions, and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.
You’ll be working with modern JVM technologies, React, React Native, AWS, and event-driven systems in a healthcare technology environment where reliability and delivery matter.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
- Build and evolve APIs using REST, gRPC, and GraphQL, including Apollo-based integrations.
- Develop frontend applications with React, Next.js, and React Native (Expo).
- Design and implement real-time communication features using WebSockets, event queues, and message brokers.
- Work with AWS services and contribute to cloud infrastructure and deployment practices.
- Use Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools for basic infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Improve application observability using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to technical design discussions.
- Use AI effectively to improve development workflows, from exploration and implementation to testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features on time.
Qualifications

- Experience with React Native, preferably Expo.
- Experience working with AWS in production environments.
- Basic experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Experience with real-time systems, event-driven architecture, or message brokers such as SNS/SQS.
- Familiarity with application monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to engineering decisions.
- Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of deliverables.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- A strong interest in using AI efficiently and responsibly in software development.
Nice to have - Experience in healthcare technology or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with CI/CD, containers, and cloud-native deployment practices.
- Experience contributing to technical architecture and mentoring other engineers.
