Senior Full Stack Engineer

As our Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be the primary driver behind the development of our antigen design platform. You will have complete ownership of the implementation of features on our platform. On top of that, you will be a key person responsible for design of our frontend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Development: Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of new features for our vaccine development platform.
• Architectural Design: Design and implement a robust, scalable architecture for our data-intensive applications, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our bioinformatics and machine learning teams to translate complex scientific requirements into intuitive and powerful software tools.
• Technical Mentorship: Establish and champion software development best practices within the team.
• DevOps collaboration: Work closely with DevOps teams on deployments and infrastructure management
• Proven track record in a full-stack or senior software engineering role, with experience building and launching complex applications (3+ years)
• Frontend: Expertise in TypeScript and a modern frontend framework (e.g. React or Vue).
• Backend: Strong proficiency in at least one backend language and framework (most of our services are written in Python).
• DevOps: Solid understanding of containerization with Docker and modern deployment practices.
• Mindset: You are a product-minded engineer who thrives on ownership and is passionate about building tools that solve meaningful, real-world problems.
• Experience building tools related to molecular biology or other scientific domains;
• Experience in building user interfaces for manipulating 3D objects;
