Realize Medical seeks a senior engineer to own server and web systems behind its FDA-cleared VR surgical planning platform. You will operate production services, design new systems, and remain accountable for architecture, security, and server-side operations. The work connects VR, desktop, and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production web platforms and cloud services
- Lead security hardening and maintain compliance evidence
- Build server and web services for connected applications
- Integrate hospital IT environments and enterprise single sign-on
- Review backend designs and record technical decisions
Requirements:
- Five-plus years operating services holding sensitive user data
- Sound judgment choosing technology stacks for problems
- On-premise server deployment experience in customer environments
- Authentication and SSO experience with OIDC, SAML, and Active Directory
- Compliance experience with SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 13485
