The Opportunity
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you’ll take ownership across the full development lifecycle, building and shipping scalable applications at the heart of a fast-moving financial technology environment.
You’ll bring strong opinions on architecture, mentor those around you, and work within an Agile team that values quality, rigour, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, evolve and maintain scalable full stack applications across a modern cloud-based technology estate
- Design and maintain microservices architecture and API integrations
- Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the long-term technical direction
- Uphold strong CI/CD practices, automated testing, and SDLC standards throughout delivery
- Drive application performance improvements and embed security best practices at every layer
- Dig into and resolve production issues across complex, distributed systems
- Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar on engineering standards across the team
- Partner with Business Analysts and Product Owners to bring clarity to complex problems and deliver the right solutions
About You
- Proven track record as a full stack engineer, with significant experience delivering in large-scale, enterprise settings
- Confident back-end engineer with hands-on C# and ASP.NET experience
- Good working knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets
- Hands-on experience with AWS and containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable with version control and CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitLab)
- Strong relational database skills, particularly PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Experienced working in Agile, cross-functional delivery teams
- A strong communicator who can cut through complexity and work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
