Senior Full-Stack Engineer
Summary
Senior Full-Stack Engineer builds scalable Python (FastAPI/Flask) backend services and REST APIs, and modern TypeScript/React/Vue frontends with Electron desktop apps to streamline internal content-creation workflows.
We are partnering with a technology-driven organization that develops internal platforms and engineering tools to streamline digital content creation and production workflows. They are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and enhance scalable applications that improve operational efficiency and collaboration across technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI or Flask).
- Build and optimize data models across relational and NoSQL databases while implementing caching and messaging solutions where appropriate.
- Ensure application security through authentication, authorization, input validation, and robust error handling.
Frontend Development
- Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using modern frontend frameworks, HTML5, CSS (Tailwind CSS), and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron, including packaging, auto-updates, IPC, and native integrations.
- Define frontend development standards, reusable UI components, testing practices, and performance optimization strategies.
Engineering Excellence
- Develop automated test suites using tools such as pytest.
- Drive application performance tuning, troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab, and Docker to support efficient software delivery.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with product, design, platform, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Contribute to Agile development practices and continuously improve engineering processes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building production-grade full-stack applications.
- Strong expertise in Python (FastAPI or Flask) and RESTful API development.
- Experience with SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, or similar backend frameworks.
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React or Vue, including state management and routing.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Vector Databases).
- Experience with Redis, caching strategies, and messaging systems is advantageous.
- Experience writing automated tests and maintaining high code quality.
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and modern software development practices.
- Strong communication skills with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
