Senior Full Stack Engineer

In this role, you will deliver hands-on engineering across backend microservices, UI apps and databases to provide a first-in-class solution. You will shape the Java 21+ microservice architecture and uplift quality and operability. Working with a global team, you’ll translate requirements into production-ready outcomes with Docker on Kubernetes in GCP. You’ll strengthen engineering practices and enable frequent, reliable production changes. • Build and release backend microservices, UI apps and database changes into production for CDD
• Shape architecture and design aligned to a Java 21+ microservice structure
• Accelerate delivery cadence with hands-on contribution and reliable production changes
• Set engineering standards, mentor engineers and embed modern software development practices
• Partner with business and engineering leadership to understand requirements and align delivery
• Strengthen engineering culture across testing, code review, documentation and continuous improvement
• Remove impediments, surface risks and communicate issues to programme management
• Support delivery and operational excellence for services running in Docker containers on Kubernetes within GCP

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience delivering backend applications to production
• Proven experience shaping engineering practice and cultural change across teams
• Strong experience designing microservices and microservice architectures
• Delivery experience releasing changes to production at high cadence with reliability
• CI/CD practices across build, test and deployment workflows
• Build and deliver RESTful APIs to production
• Design schemas and work with PostgreSQL databases
• UI development with ReactJS and end-to-end delivery across the stack
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and GCP in production
• Backend services in Java (Java 21+ preferred)
