Role – Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java / Spring Boot (Backend) + React / TypeScript (Frontend))
Location – Mountain View, CA – Locals Only
Must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Ensure security, reliability, and performance of backend services
- Implement data access using SQL and NoSQL databases
- Integrate internal/external systems via APIs and event‑driven architectures
- Build modern UIs using React + TypeScript
- Develop reusable components using hooks and functional components
- Implement state management using Redux, Zustand, or Context API
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs
- Ensure performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design
- Participate in architecture discussions and design reviews
- Design scalable, modular systems
- Apply best practices for performance, reliability, security, cloud & DevOps
- Deploy applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerization
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Mentor junior engineers
- Drive improvements in architecture, performance, and developer productivity
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience building microservices and REST APIs
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB)
- Experience building cloud‑native applications
- Strong understanding of system design and design patterns
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with event‑driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- Testing frameworks: JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library
- Observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana
- Knowledge of OAuth2 and JWT
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
